Update - We understand that some customers are having issues sending claims to Change Healthcare. It appears that some customers’ credentials need to be reset. We are working with Change to reset credentials for affected customers. Please notify us by creating a case if you are having issues submitting claims, as we will need to work with Change Healthcare to reset your credentials.

Update - Our reconnection to Change Healthcare was successful. You can begin sending claims and processing ERAs.

Enrollment for new payers is still offline as Change Healthcare continues to work on bringing all systems back online. While they work to bring that system back online, they have established a new payer list to show the current status of payer connections. Please use the Exchange Claims & Remittance Payer List from this site to determine the status of a payer connection (or to find a payer ID if you deleted it): https://support.changehealthcare.com/customer-resources/payer-lists

Update - We are on track to restore the connection to Change Healthcare later tonight.

While you rest, we will work on inserting the new passwords we have received on your behalf into the software so you can begin submitting claims and processing ERAs tomorrow morning.

Please remember that claim status updates and eligibility services are pending restoration by Change Healthcare. Until those services are restored, we recommend using payer portals for this information.

Update - Our testing is advancing positively, and we anticipate reinstating the connection to Change Healthcare on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

All customers have received new passwords, and we're currently integrating them into the software on your behalf to ensure seamless claim submission.

Upon reconnection, you'll regain the ability to submit claims and receive ERAs.

Please note that claim status updates and eligibility services are pending restoration by Change Healthcare. Until those services are restored, we recommend using payer portals for this information.

Update - We're currently working on reconnecting and testing with Change Healthcare, but unfortunately, we won't be able to finish our testing today. We'll give you an update by the end of the day on Monday, April 15, 2024, to provide you with timely updates on our progress.

As reconnection efforts continue, we've had some inquiries about a potential second cyber incident involving Change Healthcare. We want to reassure you that, after checking with Change Healthcare, there's no evidence of any additional cyber incidents since February 21, 2024.

Apr 12, 2024 - 09:23 PDT
Update - Yesterday Change Healthcare communicated that they are ready to restore API connections and provided us with letters of assurance that they have performed the appropriate security scans to restore access to customers safely.
We have begun the work needed to reconnect and will provide you with timely updates as we work towards restoring services as quickly as possible.

Tonight we will perform a brief maintenance window that will allow us to begin testing claims with a few customers tomorrow. We will provide another update by the end of the day tomorrow, Friday, April 12.

Apr 11, 2024 - 06:01 PDT
Update - Change Healthcare has recently informed us that the restoration of the API connection we rely on will likely take another 1-2 weeks. We are actively engaged with Change Healthcare to receive updates and understand any necessary system modifications to resume the flow of claims. Once the opportunity arises, we will promptly work to re-establish a secure connection to Change Healthcare's Medical Network. However, it's important to note that even after the connection is restored, we anticipate an additional 1-2 weeks for necessary adjustments on our end, which means we are still, at minimum, another 2 weeks from the full restoration of services.

We recognize the inconvenience caused by this interruption in clearinghouse services and want to ensure you are aware of the available options:

- Continue sending paper claims and manually processing EOBs.
- Consider switching to an alternative clearinghouse.

We understand that both options are time-consuming and not ideal. However, we want to emphasize that you have choices, and we are committed to supporting you through this process. Our support team is available to assist you in evaluating the time and cost benefits of switching clearinghouses. If you are interested in exploring this option, please reach out to our support team, and we will assist you every step of the way.

As a reminder, we will be issuing credits to affected customers. Upon resolution of this outage, we will determine the appropriate credit to issue and will do so automatically.

Apr 03, 2024 - 12:20 PDT
Update - Change Healthcare continues to make progress in their testing of the restored Medical Network, and they have indicated that preparatory instructions for re-connection by API partners (such as ChiroTouch) will likely begin next week. ChiroTouch continues to work directly with Change Healthcare to understand the security requirements and any system modifications necessary to restart the flow of claims, and we will move as fast as possible to re-establish secure connection to Change Healthcare's Medical Network once that opportunity is made available. However, please be advised that we may still be several weeks from the full restoration of services as we are still learning what will be required to reconnect.

We understand that a multi-week delay in claims processing and other clearinghouse services can be very disruptive to your business, and ChiroTouch stands ready to explore all options in supporting you through this disruption. If you are interested in discussing workarounds with our team, please contact Support.

"By the end of the week, we expect our largest clearinghouse [service] will be back online... Re-connection will begin with providers, channel partners and other clearinghouses, to enable claim submission... Phased re-connection and testing will continue into the week of March 25 as operations ramp up."
